After their last close encounter Ashton and Katherine had been ignoring each other with the misunderstanding of each one of them being married to someone else.
Ashton busied himself with work. He tried hard not to think about Katherine, but it seemed like a herculean task for him to not think about his ex-wife whom he was still in love with.
