Against all odds, Ashton managed to convince his parents that Katherine was innocent and that she had no involvement with that man. He recruited personal investigators to dig into the matter, secretly but later found out that he had absconded that very night.
“Mr.Schwimmer, we will keep looking for him. He should definitely come out of his hiding in a month or two.” His PI assured him.
Ashton nodded. His mind was pre-occupied with the thoughts of who could probably want to pin Katherine with such a blame.
The investigator left him alone in his office cabin, where he shouldn’t be spending the morning since his wedding was on the following evening but this was too important of a matter to be looked into. He signed heavily before gathering his things from the table and left home.
