Summer had gone and came in fall. Ken and I are now back in university.
“Barbie, why are you smiling there.” Ken threw a french fry on my face.
“Because I’m happy? Duh, Ken.” I rolled my eyes at him.
“Then what are you happy about? Doesn’t seem like you lost your v-card already. You got home early from your dinner date. And you do not have that after s*x glow on you.” I clamped his mouth shut.
“Shhh…” I hissed at him. How can he be my best friend with his loud mouth? I took my hand from his mouth before he licks it. He has a habit of doing that.
“I’m happy and thankful because, even with unfortunate events, I still had a great summer.” I grabbed Ken’s hand and squeezed it.
