"I want to save Avery." The moment Ramos said it, the entire room went dead cold but nothing was colder than Crystal's heart which shattered into millions of pieces as she couldn't believe it.
Even though she was telling herself that he would choose Avery but somewhere in her heart, she was hoping that Ramos would not choose her for the sake of love but maybe for his babies because he said he loved them.
Crystal's heart instantly winched hard in pain as if someone was squeezing it. It was paining like hell as if her mate rejected her but Crystal didn't show any emotion. She was just left stunned, shocked, and broken by his words while Ramos didn't even turn towards her for once.
