Chapter 125

|Tamara|   I thought that what I wanted to happen that night would cease to follow. I was reassured as I walked down the hall to the rooms. The doors leading to the rooms aren’t that hard to find because when I arrive on the second level of the house, there is a family area on the right and a hallway on the other side: leading to which I guessed were the bedrooms. But before I could even step into the nearest door, I felt Geoff’s warm palm on my arm, stopping me from my tracks. I let my eyes fall down to his hand. "Why don’t we talk now?" he asked with a concerned brow. I let out a deep breath and turned around to face him.  “No. we’re not having that conversation yet. You’re still sick and you need to start to rest,” I pointed out like it was enough reason to talk everything tomorrow.
