As what Sofia and I agreed, we swapped stations. Sofia was happily gliding her feet towards Geoff while I simply watched them both while making my way to Sofia’s tables. There are a few customers in her area waiting somebody to take their orders. I turn around as I try to glance at Geoff. Sofia marched to his side with her pen and note on her hands ready to scribble. She said something that took Geoff’s attention. His eyes flew up to Sofia with his face rolling in confusion. Geoff began to roam his eyes around and immediately found mine. My throat ran dry. I can see the muscles on his jaw tightening with his eyes staring at me intently. I looked away hiding my victory smirk.
