I expected Ruiz to be in the dining room but to my surprise, he wasn’t sitting at his usual spot. It was only Maria present with different kinds of dishes on the table.
“Where is Ruiz?” I asked Maria as I settled down on the empty chair opposite her. I let out a satisfied smile as the aroma of the food filled the air.
I couldn’t wait to start eating because my stomach was growling as I hadn’t had anything to eat throughout the day.
