I wake up feeling the bed dip beside me and I open my eyes to see it is Jackson, holding a glass of lemonade and pills in his hand. I smile at him, feeling a bit embarrassed about my outburst earlier. He just wanted me to get the rest that I needed and I go screaming at him. I look to my bedside table and see my ring lying right there and I want to hide underneath the blankets in shame.
“Come now my love, you need to drink your vitamins.” He says and I push myself up to take the pills from him. I quickly swallow the pills and then look towards the windows, hoping I didn’t sleep the entire day away, I still need to go to my sister. I bathed her yesterday and cleaned her cell while she was out cold. I got Caleb to attach an IV to her to get some nutrients into her. She will need to eat soon
