“No sh*t. I can see that. What are you doing here? You need a doctor, not a professor.”
“I can’t be absent at the very beginning of my classes. I‘m fine. I just need some rest.”
“You know, there are doctors on the campus too. If you like, I can take you to one.”
“I don’t want to go to a doctor. Just leave me alone.” I turned my face around to make him stop bothering me.
Getting checked by a doctor will be good for me now because I can’t see with my wounded eye anymore. But going to a doctor would mean thousands of questions which would end up dragging my mom to jail. I don’t want
