Roman’s POV I’d never done this before. Not the s*x. Not the obsession. But this the care. The thought. The quiet kind of devotion that made my chest hurt. Ariana was on the couch that afternoon, her bare legs curled beneath her, Roman Holiday playing softly in the background. She looked so at ease, so f*****g beautiful, like she belonged in a world far better than the one that created me. She didn’t notice I was watching her. Didn’t see me texting a concierge. Booking a suite. Didn’t see how my hands shook while doing it. Because I needed this night to be different. No rushing. No sneaking. No guilt gnawing at the edges of something that had long since stopped being wrong. I wanted to give her something real the kind of night that felt like a memory before it even happene
