Haunted by the thoughts of Emily Coffey is the reason why I never fell in love before her, but when I let myself fall hard and sudden, I didn't expect her to betray me like this, because she was different. She wasn't the soft-spoken, sweet flowery girl like the rest, she was hard, determined and a very skilled warrior. I thought she fell for me too, but she didn't, and I was taken for a fool, which I was and that was the worst part of it. I loved her, I still do, but she chose another pack instead of the one who took her in.
She chose Haiden, who tried to kill her several times, over me, who saved her. Perhaps she's mentally unstable, or she's so used to the chaos that she didn't feel like this was her home. I don't know, but it hurts. The hallow feeling in my chest sucks
