"This should knock him right out," he injects something into Nico's arm, and yet there's still no response from him. "What will it do?" I ask while I sit on the floor, heart shattered while I hold his hand as his eyes flutter shut with a fight. He doesn't seem to want to sleep, but whatever Doc gave him is stronger than wanting to stay awake. I watch as his eyes fall shut, and then his head rolls to the side as he passes out. "He's sleep deprived, so the shot will knock him out and he'll sleep, for however long he needs to and when he wakes up, you call me, got it?" Doc explains as he packs up his things.
