Cooperate?
I would never have expected to hear those words from Skylar. Rosie had shed the blood of her subordinates, time and time again. And it had not been long since the last murder, mind you. Skylar had even sent someone to assassinate her. Yet now, the leader of the pirates was talking about cooperating with Rosie. It left me speechless.
Putting Rosie's own opinions on the matter aside, would the rest of the pirates ever agree to this?
"Oh, don't look at me like that." Skylar laughed, sashaying toward me. "There's no such thing as friends in my world. Only assets and liabilities." Her face turned serious in the very next second as she said, "I'm sure that Rosie wants to leave this island too. Since she has something I want, I'll give her what she wants in exchange. It's a win-win
