"Better late than never," Seth joked, clearly thankful for his help. "I would have been dog meat in two more minutes." A moment later, Kirlin flew overhead with Briana on his back. They circled high above then Kirlin swooped down into a lazy circle, then straightened out. His vast wings were outstretched twenty feet across from wing tip to wing tip, reminding Seth of an airplane coming in for a landing. Then, his hooves touched the ground and he trotte
