"Everyone, lower your weapons!" Herman said, racing quickly to Seth's side. "Your father has sent her."
"Stand down, everyone!" Seth said, quickly raising his
hands. "She comes in peace!"
"In peace?" Dain scoffed. "Dragon shifters want nothing but blood."
"Enough!" Seth said, stepping forward.
Suddenly, the dragon drew near and landed in the field just outside of the castle walls as Dain and Tannin exchanged looks. The dragon was beautiful, a lovely shade of sorrel. It walked purposefully toward the castle when purple firefly lights rushed in and surrounded it, causing its body to morph until it pulled together into the form of a beautiful girl with lovely light brown hair and green eyes. The skirts of her sorrel-colored dress billowed behind her.
