The Process
Each of these wonderful people agreed to a lengthy interview. I asked a wide variety of questions including:
Physical descriptions and issues Travel history: US and international Nicknames Professional and weird skills Hobbies Superpower / mental processes Favorite sayings Favorite recreations What they are fanatic about Pets, homes, cars …and so much moreThey also had to sign a release stating that I could then do almost anything with their character: hero, villain, they might die…
Then I went away and wrote the stories.
Except for the occasional follow-up question, they had no input into their stories. They did not read them pre-publication. These are purely works of fiction that happen to be inspired by five wonderful and interesting real-life people.
