“DAWN, AVA CALLED ME. You can go now to the Chairman’s office. I was informed by his secretary that there was some problem with his computer,” Jen said and smiled mysteriously.
Dawn frowned. “Then why are you smiling like that?”
Jen shook her head. “Nothing.”
“You’re not planning to set me up, right?” Dawn joked, making Jen laugh.
Jen gave Dawn a push. “You go now. Don’t keep the Chairman waiting.”
Dawn nodded and left the Technical Department. She was still confused as to why the Chairman wanted to see her. “I didn’t do anything wrong, right?”
Dawn sighed and entered the elevator. While the elevator was going up to the top floor, her heartbeat beat faster every second. When the elevator finally stopped, and it opened, she took a deep breath and stepped out.
