Chapter 26. Part Two. Putting It Right Ruth glanced at Devon, as he questioned Naomi about Clay’s father. He had gone deeper than she had ever dared to go when talking about her mother-in-law’s husband, and she couldn't help but wonder why. However, Naomi answered all of the questions with an open honesty that could only be admired. “He was no good, but he was my husband. I made my vows before God, and I could not break them. I said 'Till death, us do part', and stuck to it through thick and thin. Thankfully, I believe God rescued me when the death part came, and I was free. Or so I thought. The money that man owned was astronomical, and the people he had loaned it off were the worst of the worst. But, Clay and James helped pay it off when they were alive. After they were both killed,
