Chapter 38 – Going.
The past few days had passed in a blur of activity, the realities of Craig's actions with Demi hitting both Devon and Ruth hard. Devon found himself feeling more than a little frustrated. He had finally voiced his feelings for Ruth, and she had reciprocated them. This was a time he would have wanted to enjoy, going out for meals, and having dates like a normal couple. However, other than a few meals with Ruth and Naomi, and, of course, Caroline, there had been little time for anything else. Rather than enjoy their new relationship status, Devon was locked in his office most of the time, fighting the fires that Craig had lit in his company.
