Both Lydia and Kade were enjoyed the quiet travel for some time and the peace was something that they had got very used to here and with them. However, they did not ever mind not having a conversation the whole time, having these silent moments with each other was just too calming.
Also quite enjoyable it was like this, that is exactly what they both needed right now.
