Sara’s pov
I took some of the left over green juice and poured it into a glass.
I walked back and then put it on the table.
“Enjoy,” I said, and Jake looked at me and smiled as if I just made his day.
I watched as he took the glass and happily drank.
Not even a little frown, I looked at Martin and he was just as confused as I was.
“Thank you, that was nice,” he said and then walked off.
“He isn’t normal,” I said, and Martin chuckled at this.
“He isn’t even human,” he added, and we continued eating.
“Mary told me you accepted the job offer,” he said, and I nodded.
“Just for now, it’s nothing permanent,” I explained. Felix walked in with a frown on his face.
