Tamara’s pov After we had a few cookies my eyes landed on him again. “Why didn’t you tell them who you really are?” I asked him and he sighed. He threw himself back on the bed and looked up before looking at me. “My mother’s smile,” he replied, and I looked at him confused. What did his mother’s smile have to do with any of this? “You see, ever since I have known my mother. It was the first time I didn’t see any pain in her eyes,” he explained. I laid down next to him, and we both looked up at the ceiling above us. “She always had this sadness to her.
