CHAPTER 89. Eye to Eye
Mara woke up early to prepare their food as she was certain that Gabriel would have a bad hangover despite what happened last night. She thought that it would also be better if she just rode along with him while they were together on the sail and, eventually, maybe she could find a way out. She had cooked breakfast and prepared the coffee already as she thought that Gabriel would be awake soon. However, every food she prepared turned cold when Gabriel did not step out of his room as it was almost lunch time. ‘I think I should check on him.’ She thought and walked to the man’s room. Slowly, Mara twisted the doorknob and slowly pushed the door to open slightly and then she peeked at the small opening first.
