After the conversation that Jason and Crystal had, they haven’t seen each other again. Crystal wants to leave Mi Paraiso as well but hesitated since she knew she can't find another job again as she doesn’t have any documents and such, plus she is also struggling with her switch as a siren and cannot work in the daytime. Though she felt exhausted, she never complained, but still confused about which territory she truly belonged to, especially now that she’s alone. It’s been easy for her to determine before but gets hard when her parents aren’t around.
Today is the day that she is going to go back to Caro island with her own capability. She woke up early and prepared everything she needed for her solo journey. Putting some food, dry clothes, and a towel inside her waterproof bag, then sling it on her back. She locked her quarter and after double-checking it, she already dives into the water without waiting for her switch. She swims as far as she could go with her human body until her transformation time has come and with her strong tail and fin her pace becomes faster.
She took a rest on the bottom of the sea when she felt weary, then continued after a few minutes. The courageous siren raced towards the Caro island’s direction until she arrived successfully before her tail could change into a pair of feet. She smiled, feeling proud of herself.
She rested and stayed in the water while waiting for her transformation until the sun had set. She gripped the rock tightly while enduring the pain of her switch, which she thought doesn’t hurt anymore, but she was wrong because the pain is still there, reminding her every day how unfortunate of a creature she is.
Once she had her pair of feet, she wrapped herself with the towel and wore her undergarment and dry dress. The sky has turned dark, while the brightness from the moon is the only light she has. She looked up and closes her eyes,
‘I’m home.’ she thought with a smile but her eyes suddenly welled up when she realized the sad truth that she has no home without her parents, who used to take care of her and protect her all the time. She sighed and swallowed, trying to resist her emotions, and went on with her purpose.
She trailed, getting inside of the forest where their beloved cabin used to stand. But while walking with her bare feet, she suddenly heard voices. Her eyes widen in excitement as she thinks it was her father and about to run rapidly to find where the voices came from, but she halts and quickly hides behind a gigantic tree when she realizes it wasn’t Christian. Her heartbeat suddenly raced, pounding in her chest as she tried to listen to the conversation.
“Sir, all are clear. There’s no evidence left in the area, even the boats have vanished.” a man’s voice said, talking over a radio while she can hardly figure out what on the other line is saying.
“No, sir. Even the couple, we have roamed the entire island but no sign of them even the daughter hasn’t returned.” The man added that brought Crystal some hope for her parents that could still be alive and just staying somewhere away from the island, or maybe on the move to find her.
“Copy, sir.” his last words before he ended the conversation.
“Everyone! Pack up, we are returning!” the man yelled.
Crystal stays hidden, making sure that everyone has left the island before she comes out.
‘Who are those men? What do they want from my parents?’ Crystal confusingly thought.
She went to their burnt place but only took a glance, thinking that the men earlier would return and might see her, so she went back to the shore where she came from and stayed there for the night while waiting for the sunrise.

“Crystal.” Jason welcomed her when she arrived back at the Creekwood.
“What are you doing here?” She spitefully responded and slumped onto the land just near the water.
“You look so tired. You know you don’t have to clean the water every day,” Jason mocked her playfully, taking off his coat and wrapping it around Crystal.
“Just go.” Crystal mumble and stands on her feet, giving the coat back to the man.
“Crystal, I did what you told me. Now, what’s next?” He followed her until she got inside the shack.
“What’s next?”
“Yeah! I keep away from you for a week yet here I am still wanting your attention.” but the lady just ignored him and dried her body with the towel and took off her soaked things inside the bag while the man couldn't resist noticing it.
“Why did you carry a bag underwater with clothes?” Jason inquired, confusingly while watching her.
“It’s none of your business.” Crystal retorted.
“Then make it mine too,” He said, standing behind her.
“You know what? You are the most annoying human I ever met.” she hissed and spun to face the man, but when she did, Jason was already standing so close to her. He abruptly caged her, putting his both hands on the table on each of her sides.
“Jason?” She felt the butterflies rams inside her stomach while staring at the man but instead of saying a word, Jason took the opportunity and claimed the lady’s lips.
Crystal’s eyes widened from what he did and tried pushing the man away, but it only urged the man to embrace her body and pulled her deeper into him as he kept on kissing her harshly. Crystal moaned in disapproval as she kept on resisting him until her body gave up. When Jason felt her body steady against his, he changed his pace and started giving her gentle kisses.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered and wiped Crystal’s swollen lips. But instead of being angry, Crystal felt like wanting more. She raised her arms and wrapped them around his neck and connected with their lips. Jason groaned with the lady’s initiative and kissed her back. The silence surrounding them, hearing the sounds of their lips as they move in sync inside the dark quarter with just a light from the small lamp and the brightness of the moon outside that pierces through the window.
Jason’s hands caress her still wet body, squeezing her skin gently. Until it roamed under her dress and realized she’s not wearing any underwear. Crystal gasps when he squeezes her bottom, and that causes her to pull off from the kiss.
“I wonder how come you are still a virgin after luring a lot of men,” Jason whispered, connecting their foreheads.
“Just saving it for the right man,” she answered.
“Could it be me?” Jason asked with a wide grin, but Crystal just pushed him away.
“No, because you don’t know how to swim.” Crystal told him.
“I can learn,” he argued.
“How? When you can’t even obey my simple demands.”
“Anything, Crystal. Just stop pushing me away.”
“You should go, I’m tired and I want to take a rest for the complete night” Crystal grabs her towel that fell on the floor and enters the bathroom to clean up.
While Crystal is in the shower, she remembers the intimate scene she shared with Jason. She raised her hand and brought her fingers to her lips.
‘Gabe,’ memories of him flashing back to her, but she whipped her head off of that thought.
‘Stop, Crystal. He never cared for you from the beginning so stop thinking about him.’ she scolded herself, taking a deep breath and releasing every gravity she had inside.
When she stepped out of the bathroom, Jason was nowhere around unlike what she was expecting. She sighed in defeat but understood and just felt glad if he just avoided her completely. Though she likes the attention that Jason is giving her, she still has doubts about her feelings, especially after what Gabriel did to her. Also, the man doesn’t have any idea about her other form and is afraid of what his reaction might be if he learns about it. It could be like Gabriel’s? Or like the one who hysterically called her a monster?
Her tears rolled down but quickly wiped it out as she promised herself to be tough all the time.
After she put on her clothes, she walked to the sink and reached her cabinet on top to prepare something to eat, but it startled her when suddenly Jason came back.
“Crystal! Look what I have here, I know you are famished every time you come out from the water and so I bought you something to eat,” He said while taking out the food from the paper bag. Some waffles, and meals from fast food.
“I thought you left.” Crystal mumbled as she watched his every move.
“You know that’s far from happening.” he winked at her.
“Yeah right. Because you are best at being stubborn.” Crystal rebutted, taking a seat and picking a waffle.
“I know and will never stop being one until you give up.” He told her, also taking the other seat in front of her.
“You wish, Jason Gonzales. Not going to happen, I swear,” she responded, munching her food, but Jason only smirked at her and pulled her chair closer to him. Crystal gasped in surprise at what he did and blushed.
“You swear? I don’t think so, beautiful.” he huskily whispered and leaned forward, closer to her face. Crystal swallowed the big piece of waffle inside her mouth without chewing it and almost choked. She coughs softly and grabs the glass of water placed on the table.
“See how I affect you?” Jason proudly said, teasing the lady.
“Could you stop looking at me like that!?”
“But I want to. I can even stare at you for the entire day, and…” He leaned even more closely while his hands were on each side of her, holding on to the backrest of Crystal’s chair.
“Kiss your lips the entire night.” Crystal blushed and the next thing she knew, the man’s lips were already caressing against hers.
She clutched the man’s shirt as she kissed him back. Jason’s hands transferred to the back of her head, pushing her more into him to deepen the kiss. Crystal moaned with the pleasure he is giving to her and it even made the man even more confident. He pulled her up without breaking the kiss, parted her legs using his knee, and let her sit on his lap with her thighs on each side of him. Crystal accidentally bit his lower lip while Jason groaned when their aching parts touched each other against their clothes. Crystal became terrified when she felt his hard shaft that is even more sensual than the first time at the hotel because of the soft jogger cotton fabric he was wearing tonight. She is about to get up, but Jason holds her tightly to the waist, not letting her go.
“You feel it?” with a deep husky voice Jason asked. Crystal nodded, even though her body was shaking.
“Does it feel good?” Jason sways Crystal’s waist and grinds their sensitive core against each other.
“Yes, s-stop.” Crystal moaned, clinging to his shoulder.
“You sure?” She nodded, and he obediently did, but still holding her waist. They are both gasping heavily as they calm their heated body.
“I've never been so crazy like this before.” He whispered, staring deep into her eyes.
“I told you to stay away.”
“How many times should I tell you, I can’t? I tried but you keep on haunting me.”
“Then try harder.”
“No way, not anymore.”
“Why?”
“Because I fell for you and I’m not letting you go anymore.” He said and stood up while holding Crystal on her both thighs, carrying her to bed.
