Cyrus We watched Athena intently, acutely aware of Bordou's simmering rage, anticipating the impending confrontation. She paced along the water's edge, clearly lost in her thoughts. I sensed the danger closing in, and though I yearned for Bordou to pounce and tear them apart before they reached her, I couldn't afford to lose sight of her. Suddenly, her head snapped to the right as she sensed the threat, and she began to retreat slowly. A filthy, blood-stained gray wolf emerged before her, while five others revealed themselves from the shadows of the trees.
