The Next Day
I woke up with the sunlight streaming into my room, after my talk with my father last night I returned inside and talked to Jamila; she spoke about her childhood and what she did.
When I got downstairs after doing my morning routine, dad and Serena were no where to be seen.
"Hey Eve, its just us this morning, mom and dad have left to attend to matters", Jamila came down the stairs.

"What time are you leaving today?" I asked.
