REBECCA Lunaria, the capital city of North America's werewolves, was just marvellous: skilfully concealed from prying eyes by a powerful spell aimed at anyone who was not a werewolf, it was a neat and elegant collection of paved streets and imposing neoclassical buildings. Every element of the city was built of or covered with moonstone, which meant that during official ceremonies, always held at night, the entire city glowed like a pearl. Lunaria was home to the main administrative buildings and departments of our race, such as the Council and the Tribunal, as well as the Prison.
