Carter had just texted and said he was on his way up to my apartment. I glanced around my place, making sure everything was perfect. I looked at myself in the mirror and I could only hope that Carter still felt the same way about me. I had been pushing him away, calling him a good friend, and ultimately putting him in the friend zone. This weekend was about changing that, but first I had to make sure that it was something he wanted. If not, then it would be my own fault.
