"Hey trouble !", Kai tried to candidly approach in my direction, following my scent but backed off when Dante stepped between us on the staircase as he stepped down towards Kai.
The hunt had taken longer than necessary and it would have taken even longer if Dante had not killed a deer and forced me to eat it.
We had only an hour or two left to join Lex’s birthday bash and I was just not in the mood to go.
