Calla’s POV
I woke up to Luna’s voice cutting through the early morning darkness. “Wake up, lovebirds! You've got three hours until dawn, and we need to practice some offensive combinations before you face whatever hell the Tribunal has planned.”
Kane stirred beside me, his arm tightening around my waist protectively before reluctantly letting go. “What time is it?”
“Three AM,” Luna said, tossing us each a water bottle as if she had done it a thousand times before. “Drink up and eat something light. Then we’re training until your muscles remember what I showed you yesterday because right now they're probably screaming that they never want to move again.”
She was right. My entire body ached from the tough training we’d done the day before, and the bruises she had left were just starting
