Van looked at him as if comparing him or observing him. Ricardo felt terrible by the sharp gaze if the Vampire king. But still he didn't show the agitation because he was told that as a royal person he is not to loose is cool and remain confidence in himself.

He remembered it and performed beautifully. Van was amazed as he chuckled and looked at his parents. He said with an amused tone "Ruberth your son truly is something else huh." Ricardo felt relieved to hear the satisfied tone of the Vampire king. Ruberth showed a genuine smile as he said "After all he is my son."

His tone was full of pride Ricardo couldn't help but look at the beautiful girl. Her snow white skin was akin to the pearl. Her rosy red lips outmatched the roses itself and her sparkling blue eyes felt deeper than the ocean. He thought to himself 'is it a blessing from my past life that I got to met such a fairy.'

He put his right hand on his cheat and bowed as he said "Nice to meet you princess." Van was rendered speechless as the courtesy shown right before his eyes was truly mesmarizing. Roslin was a prideful princess so she thought it was only nice if the person showed courtesy to her rather than her being the one to show the courtesy.

She remained aloof and prideful even at such a moment. Her attitude felt like everything was insignificant in front of her eyes. Van felt troubled by his daughters action so he reprimanded her "Rose why don't you greet your elders and the humble prince."

Being scolded she felt terrible but she couldn't go against her fathers will so she greeted the king and queen properly "It an honor to meet you the rulers of the dragon race."But still she sisn2even gave a look to the prince. This made him felt like being looked down.

So he retorted" Princess its not nice to avoid the person showing courtesy to you." The princess frowned and scolded" How dare a weakling like you be rude to this princess." The parents of both were shocked by the unfolding scene.

They sighed thinking about the things they have planned earlier. Since the human race was growing their power and started to remain hostile towards other races. Ruberth and Van decided to let their children marry each other but it felt as if it's going to be ruined.

But still they thought that they must not meddle in the quarrel of these little ones. Ricardo started to feel displeased so he spoke in rather spooky manner teasing the princess "You a princess? Hah you don't even look like beggar to me. Stupit child."

Princess got angry as she always have short temper she dashed towards Ricardo as she kicked. Ricardo was not yet ready so he was hit by the princess and was sent flying few meters away. 'what a vicious brat' He thought. He quickly got up.

He then reprimanded "Oh I made a mistake..." Before he could finish his words he was stupefied by the princesses words as she arrogantly said "Yeah yeah I know you want to apologize after witnessing my power." Hearing his words Ricardo chuckled..

He then replied "Why should I apologize to you. I just wanted to say that you are not beggar but a vicious beast. You call yourself a princess but you don't act like one. Aren't you ashamed?" His words were like pointed thrones piercing through the princess. She was completely enraged. She dashes again and used a round house kick.

But to her surprise the kick didn't land on anything soon she found that the prince was already behind her. She wasn't the type to back down so she kept on attacking the prince. Ricardo on the other hand kept on dodging as if mocking the princess.

The parents felt troubled but the scene was amusing as well so they couldn't help but sigh. Ricardo was enjoying as the princess was getting angrier as the time passed. She was breathing heavily as she was tired but Ricardo was sweat less.

Van felt it rather intriguing so he asked "Have your son awakened?" Robert slightly nodded his head. The scene seemed like princess was about to lose but things took unexpected turn of events. She realized that her physical prowess were far inferior to that of this prince. She changed her stance and started chanting. As she chanted the gush of wind started to swirl around her hand.

She then swung her hand towards Ricardo and a ball of wind was shot at Ricardo. The ball of wind was unusual. It grew in size and it was composed of many wind blades rotating around each other. This was a high tier wind spell.

Ricardo felt amused he barely dodged the ball causing some injuries though they were not fatal they were quite deep. Just as the princess smirk Ricardo applied light heal magic and recovered instantly. This shocked the father and daughter as the Ruberth and Theresa already knew they were unaffected.

The princess was shocked but Ricardo knew that he needs to keep low profile so he didn't show any other abilities. Evert time he got hit he would only use his late beginner stage healing magic. He didn't use any of the attack skill at all.

At this moment he realized that the boy was giving him respect by not using any attack skills to fight against his daughter. But he didn't know that it was only his thoughts. Ricardo didn't attack because he couldn't bear to be brutal with such a beautiful fairy.

He spoke those words only to agitate her and make her step back but things turned out to be like this. He was cursing himself internally 'Why should I have to be so rude to princess? I really am a fool now how am I suppose to befriend he?"

He thought this way because he was single till the end during his previous life. He thought that their parents would come to stop them but when he saw their faces he realized that it was a foolish wish. So he thought of pretending as a beginner level mage and only used beginner level healing magic.

He planned to admit defeat at the last moment reason being that he lost too much of his mana. He knew that he would face humiliation uopn doing so if the news were to spread but he thought that would be better than to stay in the lime light and provoke the gods.

As he was deep in thoughts he saw that the princess was just about to exhaust herself. He thought 'it's a difficult situation now I have to somehow end this without harming her.' suddenly an idea popped up in his mind and he swiftly fell to the ground as if being exhausted to the core.

Both his parents dashed towards him with great worry. The princess realized the situation and quickly calmed herself down. As his parents were holding on to him he slowly opened his eyes and winked at them. This surprised them but he whispered slowly. "Let me just pretend to lose."

Both his parents sighed but they gave up at the end and took Ricardo back to his room.
