"So how long have you been dating Dominic?"
Alan almost dropped the bag he was holding when his dad asked that question. They're both standing in front of the elevator, waiting for it reach them. He has spent the last three days by his father's side so really, he should have known this question was coming.
"A month and a few days." Alan replied honestly and Alexander nods, pushing his hands into the pocket of his slacks, something Alan had fought against. He had thought his dad would be uncomfortable in slacks and had told Dominic to buy a pair of sweatpants instead but after twenty minutes of arguing, he finally relents and agrees to let Alexander wear slacks since that was what he was comfortable in.
