Hearing the melodious voice, Alicia melted down totally, just like the butter melting down when coming in contact with a hot knife. Just like butter, Alicia didn’t know that the words which she was hearing were meant to give her pain but she was unaware about it.
She almost forgot who she was and why she was there. The thought of him being mistaken didn’t hit her even for once. She just felt that his words were just for her.
