Ethen pulled out the ring box from his pocket and glanced at it. He then averted his glance to Alicia who was standing by the window and staring out.
He walked to her and patted her shoulder.
“What?” she whispered in a low tone making sure not to wake Ivan who was sound asleep.
“Come with me,” Ethen whispered and grasped her wrist.
“Ethen, wait, where are we going?” Alicia questioned but Ethen pulled her out of the room.
“Come with me I have something to tell you,” Ethen replied and hiked down the stairs.
“But Ivan he…”
“Don’t worry we will be back in a short while. If not, Carl must be on his way. I am sure he will be here before he wakes up,” Ethen replied.
“Okay, but can you tell me where you are taking me? I am growing curious…”
