Taping the card in her hand in nervousness, Alicia walked towards the front desk to make the payment. But she was still in a dilemma whether or not to use the card given by Ethen.
“Ma’am…” the cashier on the counter called her out which flinched her and made her utter hastily, “sorry…”
“You are making the payment, right?” questioned the cashier glancing at the card in her hand.
Alicia glanced at the card and then at the cashier before nodding her head hesitantly. “Um… yeah… here.”
“Patient name is Ivan, right?” questioned the cashier glancing at the card.
“Yeah…” replied Alicia absently, wondering if the card would be accepted or not. She was in fear of what if it didn’t work like Ace’s card.
The moment the cashier returned the card saying, “thank you!” Alicia was blissfully happy.
