“I am so delighted to announce that one is down, Chris,” Alicia blurted happily, sitting by the window cupping a coffee cup on her both hands.
“We are in our safe place, Alicia… you can call me Carl,” said Carl out of disappointment.
“Okay, okay… what do you think we should do to celebrate?” she questioned.
“Let’s not celebrate. It is too early, still, one is left,” Carl suggested, plunging on the chair beside her.
“You are right…” she nodded agreeing.
“But I still cannot believe I had seen that man hugging you that day. In the sunset, you two were looking like a perfect couple. The way he was embracing you had me feel that he loved you deeply.”
