Taking a deep breath, Alicia turned to the person.
“Henry…” she called out, taking back her hand.
“So, you really are on a date,” Henry said in a disappointed tone.
“Yeah, Henry I was not bluffing. Meet my boyfriend,” she pulled the man up and hooked her hand around his arms, and added, “Stranger…”
“Stranger…?” Henry was confused.
Alicia bites her tongue.
“That’s what a nickname she provided to me. Hi, I am Alan. And you are…?”
Alicia was so revealed when Alan helped her out and didn’t let her lie to be caught by Henry. So, she hastily introduced him, “Alan, meet my landlord, Henry.”
“Landlord? Seriously? I was expecting some other thing as an introduction,” said Henry in annoyance.
