“What is with her? Which doctor has an appointment late in the evening?” Sebastian muttered in astonishment.
Suddenly Ethen got on his feet. “Excuse me.”
“Now what is with you? Do you also have an appointment?”
“Well no, I need to make an emergency call… sorry, Eve…” Eve nodded before he made his way out of the restaurant.
He saw Alicia walking in the distance, rubbing her hands against her arms. Taking off his coat, he approached her and placed it on her shoulder.
Then without saying a word he walked away. He was not able to go far, so he came to a halt. Lifting his head he looked at the sky and took a deep breath. Then he turned back to her, but seeing him Alicia hastily turned away and started to walk.
“Alicia, stop… Alicia…” he called out following her.
