Alicia walked back and forth in nervousness. She was tapping the phone on her hand waiting for Ethen’s call.
“Why is he not calling?” she mumbled to herself.
She plunged back on the couch and turned on her cell phone. “Should I give him a call?” she had a thought.
“No… no…” she threw the phone on the table. “I should give him some time. Also, why am I getting so worried about him? He is no one to me…”
“Really? Is he really no one to you?” suddenly her inner voice spoke out.
“Can you please leave me alone?” she mumbled aloud.
“No, I cannot. I am your inner voice, you will hear me whenever you are in need of advice…”
“Keep your advice within yourself,” she said and got on her feet.
She was wading towards the kitchen when she suddenly heard her cell phone ringing. Thinking it might be
