Elena's POV
We have been here for a few days now. The vampires did not return to the airport. We know that we are safe now. They will not return as they don't think anybody is at the airport. Sometimes, we go into the diners and make some burgers and things to eat during the day. We showered there in the mornings. We still do not take chances at night. One never knows when the vampires decide to come back. It is time for us to explore the surrounding areas. We also need to find out what this place is that I have built. We must discover what they are doing to the werewolves and humans in that city. Going out during the day is challenging as humans patrol the area. However, it is easy for us to avoid them. But we are still new to the surroundings and must find a way to get closer to this c
