Tristan Michelson ~•~ I think I may have scared Nicole off. I watched her in amusement as she ran out of the car, straight into the house, making me wonder what she had been thinking of to make her zone out like that, to make her embarrassed when I reminded her that we were already home. A smile tugged at my lips as I stepped out of the car and locked it behind me. Nicole was becoming easier to read. Not entirely, because she still spent half her time trying to hide what she felt from me, but enough that I could tell when her mind was spiraling. And tonight, her mind had definitely gone somewhere dangerous. I’d asked her a question and she’d shut down immediately, zoning out. It wasn’t hard to guess what she was thinking of.
