Nyla
I swallowed hard, my throat suddenly dry.
To be honest, a secret part of me had always wondered what Ezekiel looked like… down there. I had imagined it more times than I’d ever admit. But now that the moment was actually here, I felt overwhelmed — shy, nervous, and completely unprepared.
“I…” I started, then paused, biting my bottom lip hard.
Ezekiel smiled softly and leaned in to kiss my cheek, his lips warm and gentle. “It’s fine,” he murmured. “We can do this when you’re ready. It’s just… I have this kink, you know...”
“Kink?” I asked, confused. The word sounded familiar, but I wasn’t entirely sure what it meant. Susie had mentioned something like that once while talking about a spicy book she was reading, but I never asked for details. She is actually an avid reader.
Ezekiel noticed my confusion immediately. He sat closer, taking both of my hands in his. His thumbs stroked the backs of my palms soothingly as he explained in a calm, patient voice what a kink was. He said a s****l preference or fantasy that turns someone on. When he finished, I blinked.
“So… your kink is… jerking off in front of ladies?” I asked hesitantly.
He chuckled softly, a little embarrassed but still honest. “Well, you’re quite correct. It’s actually jerking off in front of someone I really like… and then releasing on their face. It’s my weird, simple kink.”
My eyes widened slightly, but I found myself nodding. Strangely, hearing him say it so openly didn’t disgust me. If anything, it made my stomach flutter with nervous curiosity.
“What about you?” he asked suddenly, his voice gentle. “Do you have any kinks?”
I swallowed hard. I did have something I liked… but I had never thought of it as a “kink” before. Admitting it felt too exposing, too vulnerable. I looked down at our joined hands, cheeks burning.
“You don’t want to talk about it?” he asked softly when I stayed quiet.
He’s such a mind reader, I thought.
I bit my bottom lip and nodded shyly. He didn’t push. Instead, he gave my hands a reassuring squeeze.
“That’s understandable,” he said, his tone warm and kind. “It’s actually pretty naughty and fast of me to jump into talking about kinks and all that s**t… especially when you’re not ready for more s****l stuff yet. I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable.”
“It’s fine,” I muttered, even though my heart was still racing and my body felt strangely hot all over.
Ezekiel leaned in and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to my forehead. “We don’t have to rush anything,” he whispered against my skin. “We can take this as slow as you want. I just like being honest with you… and I really like you, Nyla. All of you.”
I closed my eyes, letting his words sink in. Even though I felt shy and a little overwhelmed, I also felt safe, wanted, and seen. For the first time, the idea of exploring these things with him didn’t seem so terrifying.
Suddenly, we heard a sound outside, footsteps echoing down the hallway. My heart jumped straight into my throat.
“I think you need to leave now,” I whispered urgently, glancing toward the door. “I think that’s my brother, and I really don’t want him coming in and seeing you here.”
Ezekiel nodded quickly, already understanding the urgency without needing further explanation. “Okay. Good night.” He leaned in and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to my forehead, his lips warm against my skin. Even after he pulled away, the warmth lingered there, refusing to fade.
He moved toward the window, swinging one leg over the sill before starting to climb down the shaky wooden ladder propped against the wall. The footsteps outside grew slightly louder, and my pulse quickened along with them. Just as his head disappeared below the windowsill, something clicked in my memory.
“Wait!” I whispered, leaning forward. “The necklace?”
He paused, his head reappearing for a moment, confusion flickering across his face before understanding dawned and a bright smile curved his lips. “You want it?”
I nodded, suddenly feeling shy under his gaze, like the question had revealed more than I intended.
He stretched his arm back up toward me, the delicate gold chain swinging gently from his fingers, catching what little light spilled through the window. I reached out and took it carefully, our fingers brushing together for just a second longer than necessary.
“Thank you,” I whispered, clutching it gently in my palm.
He gave me one last smile, the kind that made my chest tighten in a way I didn’t fully understand yet, before disappearing the rest of the way down the ladder. Moments later he pulled it up after him, and the night swallowed him whole.
Not even a minute later, a knock sounded against my door. As if I knew this would happen. I knew Garrett too well.
“What is it, Garrett?” I asked, forcing my voice into something slow and sleepy.
“Aren’t you asleep yet?” he called from the other side, his voice slightly muffled through the wood.
“I was sleeping before you knocked,” I replied, rubbing at my eyes for effect even though no one could see me. “What is it?”
“I just wanted to check on my little sister.” A short pause. “Anyway. Good night.”
I hesitated, curiosity getting the better of me. “By the way, where are you coming from?”
Silence stretched for a beat too long. “Um. I actually went to a club.”
I shook my head, too exhausted to push further tonight. “Alright then. Have a nice sleep.”
I heard his footsteps fade away. I let out a long breath and placed the new necklace gently on my bedside table. I wanted to wear it tonight, but I was suddenly so exhausted. I crawled under the covers, pulled them up to my chin, and drifted off almost instantly, the memory of Ezekiel’s kisses still lingering on my lips and everywhere.
