When Hazel managed to get home, it was around eight in the evening. She had call and let Mrs. Lee know that she will be late and politely asked her to take care of Summer for a bit. However, she knew her daughter will be angry. So after getting back, she rushed straight to Summer's playroom where she was doing her homework.
"Hey, Sweetie," Hazel peeked inside and Summer looked up at her and then looked away immediately. Oh...she was pissed alright. Hazel walked inside and pulled Summer in her arms.
"I am so sorry, sweetie...I know you were waiting for mommy," She murmured softly, playing with her hairs. "I promise, next time I will take you with me. I had to attend some important work...but do you know what? Uncle Ted is also coming to live here. We can go see him soon," Summer raised
