CHAPTER 44 MARCO CLUES My father had pushed the operation to a few days after, after he got a call I had no idea what was spoken about. He made sure to drill me in about how the whole thing worked while I listened with absolutely no interest whatsoever. The days went by faster than I wanted, and soon we were in the living room again and my father was briefing me all over again. “You understand, Marco?” He asked, and I nodded my head. It was simple.
