(IZARA POV)
URGH
I felt unbearable pain shooting all over my body. It felt like every inch of my skin was on fire.
“Princess! Princess! Can you hear me?!” A familiar voice suddenly rose, but it sounded so far away.
“Sir Alan, she is still on the antidote. She won't wake up until the poison is fully out of her system,” I heard another voice.
I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn't. I tried to move my hands. Nothing.
Even the attempt to move made the pain much worse.
Two days passed. All that changed was the fact that I could hear more clearly.
Papa and Mama were here often, and so were Alan and Veronica. They all sounded terrified and begged me to wake up.
I wanted nothing more than to tell them I was fine—that I could hear them.
