There was both good and bad news.
The bad news is that we were an hour late for the flight. The good news? Archer took the liberty of hiring a private jet back.
I smiled and took the champagne from the air hostess before looking out the window.
Carter was still lecturing Archer about missing the flight.
Unfortunately, Archer had a very important meeting, and he was late because of it.
While the noisy background ran, my mind was completely on the fact that I now have just half a day to confess to Archer about everything.
I usually take care of his schedule, and I made sure to clear it so I could ask him out on a date and just tell him everything, but it seems like Carter has other plans.
