Aaron’s POV
Hunter left my bedroom and told me to go see Ash. I was worried to see her. I know Hunter explained most things to her, but how was she going to react to seeing me? Is she going to be mad at me for lying to her or keeping this from her?
My hand shakes as I turn the knob to my old bedroom. I am not ready for this conversation but it is now or never. I take one deep breath before I open the door. Ash is sitting on my bed with her legs crossed and twiddling her thumbs. But when she hears me enter the room her head shoots up and she gives me a slight smile. She says to me a higher pitch voice then she normally speaks in, probably because she is as nervous as I am, “Hi”
I return a smile as I walk towards the bed closing the door behind me, “Hey, how are you feeling?”
She shrugs
