“Hurry up girls, make sure those ponytails are tight.” Casey cheered while clapping her hands. We are all in the girl’s locker room doing final touch-ups on our hair and face paint. We will be heading out to the field in a couple minutes to start stretching before the game starts.
I quickly tighten my ponytail and adjust the bow on the top of my head. I had Katie apply my face paint, which is blue and silver alternating dots under my left eye and over my right eyebrow. Some girls have silver lines on their cheeks or have little blue and silver BC stickers on their face.
