Aaron’s POV
Ashtyn and I are in my truck as we make our way to Joe’s. The two of us are just letting the radio fill the silence between us. I am still processing what she told me about all that she had endured with her ex Ricky. I can’t believe someone would do that to the person that they apparently loved. What I do know is if I ever come face to face with Ricky, I am going to rip his head off, I don’t care whether he is a human or not. I am just thankful that she trusts me enough to tell me what happened to her. What amazes me, is that she can still smile after everything she has been through. My mate is so incredibly strong.
