We made it in no time. I ran between the houses making it to Luke's house in seconds. It was the main packhouse, smaller houses surrounded it, but it seemed pretty quiet here. I ran up the steps and walked straight into the house, heading straight I followed Em's scent into the room ahead where she was lying peacefully on the sofa.
Elise was kneeling by her side, holding her hand as she stroked the top of it softly. As soon as she saw me she got up and moved to the side, giving me the room I needed to be beside her.
“How is she?” I asked them, keeping my focus on Em.
“She's been sleeping like this since Elijah brought her here” Luke answered, I looked up to see Elijah sitting on a chair holding a bloodied Tissue to his nose.
